It took me over a year to find a Primary Care Physician after 5 years of Kaiser. (the worst!) I could not be more thrilled with Proxima Medical and the staff. This is as close to concierge medicine, without the $$$$ a month fee, that you are going to get. I highly reccomend.

He did the thing that best doctors do: they listen, they identify the problem, and then explain very thoroughly what the treatment is and HOW it's going to bring relief. Too many doctors these days just prescribe you things and then they don't explain to you what you're taking and how it's going to make you feel better. After moving my 91-year-old grandmother to Los Angeles, I found Dr. S on ZocDoc while searching for a new primary care doctor. My grandmother has heart failure (cardiac amyloidosis) and was battling C. difficile, so we needed someone highly skilled and attentive.From the start, the experience was seamless. The onboarding process was easy, and before every appointment, we receive very helpful emails, texts, and call reminders that I didn’t know I needed! At our first visit, Dr. S reviewed her medications and hospital discharge paperwork, quickly identifying a medication that caused her C. difficile—something 2 other doctors, an gastro specialist and a hospital had missed. His expertise and thoroughness gave me immediate confidence.The office is gorgeous —more like a spa than a clinic. Even my grandmother thought it was too good to be true that this was her doctor’s office!The staff is friendly, professional, and attentive, making every visit stress-free.Dr. S truly goes above and beyond. He arranged home therapy for cardiac rehab and handles her knee injections himself, saving us trips to a specialist. The office location is also convenient, with a Quest Diagnostics lab next door for bloodwork.Dr. S combines incredible skill with genuine compassion. I’m so grateful to have him taking care of my grandmother.
